The daughter of ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has urged the Libyan people to rise against Libya’s new government, The Telegraph reports. Aisha Gaddafi, who fled to Algeria, issued an audio message which was broadcast on Syria’s al-Rai television. “My father has not left, he is always among us,” she said. “Don’t forget the orders of your father urging you to continue fighting, even if you no longer hear his voice.” The move goes against the Gaddafi family’s agreement with the Algerian government as they have promised not to make public statements at the risk of losing their status as humanitarian refugees.
